About the Sculptures

Materials that I use: Finnish sheep wool, merino wool, wire; for beaks, claws and eyes: polymer clay, apoxie sculpt, acrylic colours, varnish, aluminium foil
The sculptures that I make are not posable except for the legs and wings, which have a wire base. You can bend the legs a little bit, but I don't recommend doing so too much/too often, since the wire may break if it gets too worn out.

prices start at 400€ (a small bird, eg. goldcrest, great tit etc.) + postage
price depends on the size of the bird, its posture and the complexity of the colours and patterns of the plumage

To give you a quote, I need to know at least these things about the animal that you would like me to make for you:

species
size (if not life-size)
any other wishes regarding e.g. posture, preferably with a link to a picture that I can use as a reference
the date you need it by

If you accept the price and schedule I have quoted you with, I will start making the commission accordingly.
It's very important to me that you're happy with the finished commission. After finishing the piece I will send pictures of it to you. You can then decide if you want to buy it for the price that we have agreed on before. If you are not happy with the result or for some other reason do not want do buy it after all, I will put it up for sale for anyone to buy.

Postage prices start at ~20€ (depends on the country and the size of the sculpture)
I will need your full address, phone number and e-mail for shipping. Shipping will include tracking.
